Best Exercise Tips for Golfers

Best Exercise Tips for Golfers

If you are beginning to play golf then you should know that there are some exercises you may want to consider looking into. If you are not fully in shape for golf you may find it hard to just run out there and start playing golf and keep up with all those other golfers. It may not seem it but when it comes to golf you should be in good physical shape.

If you are golfing then you should know that improving your flexibility will help you. Improving your flexibility will also help you work on your strength. This means that you should build lean muscle and not bulky muscle. Yes, bulky muscles are stronger but they are not as flexible and you will not be able to twist the right way when you are swinging the ball.

Those who are looking to build strength in their muscles actually build muscle mass quickly. This is because they are using a lot of weights when they are lifting. If you are trying to build lean muscle you should start by lifting a lighter amount of weights. You should not lift weights that are over ten pounds simply because lifting weights over ten pounds will result in those bulky muscles.

Remember that you should stretch before you play golf then after you play golf you should stretch again. Stretching will help to keep your body flexible. If you do not do the stretching part hen you may just find yourself very sore after the golf game. It will only take about five minutes to do your stretching before and after a game of golf.
